Windows by Henry Casolani - Artist

Henry Casolani (1817-1885) A Maltese-born artist with links to the Continental "Nazarene" movement. Born in Valletta on the 12 of October 1817, son of Vincenzo and Antonia Casolani. Started studying art under Vincenzo Hyzler and later went to Rome and continued with Overbech (1838-1847). From Rome he settled in Chatham, England where he worked as a stained-glass window designer. He married Mary Johnson and had two children. He died in Wimbledon on the 29 of December 1885.
