Centre light: Pharaoh's daughter discovers the baby Moses "in the bulrushes".

Centre light: Closer view of Pharaoh's daughter with her 2 handmaidens standing behind her.

Centre light: Above the 2 handmaidens there is a traditional Egyptian fan or sunshade made of feathers.

Centre light, base: The 3 month old Moses is in an Ark made of bulrushes, but carefully tied to the river bank. Below is a reference to Exodus Chapter 2 Verses 1-10 which describe the scene in the Centre light.

LH light: Moses stands before the thirsty crowd in the Wilderness at Mount Horeb.

LH light: The Canopy above Moses includes 2 angels.
| ||||||
LH light: Moses taps the rock twice with his staff, and water gushes out of the rock.

LH light: One figure behind Moses could be his brother Aaron.

LH light: The crowd then have water for themselves and their livestock.

LH light, base: The water gushes out beneath their feet. Below is a reference to Numbers Chapter 20 Verse 10-11 which describe the scene in the LH light.

RH light: Moses and the Bronze Serpent.
| ||||||
RH light: Moses is again under a canopy with 2 angels. As instructed, he has a made a Bronze Serpent and mounteed it on a pole.

RH light: The crowd have been bitten by snakes, and some have died.
| ||||||
RH light: Moses points to the bronze serpent telling those bitten by snakes to look at it, and be cured.
| ||||||
RH light, base: They are now safe from the snakes beneath their feet. Below is a reference to Numbers Chapter 21 Verse 9 which describes the scene in the RH light.

Dedication inscription to Hannah and Henry Negus, he had been a churchwarden.
