Sir Robert Frankland-Russell, 7th Baronet (1784-1849), Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Thirsk between 1815 and 1834. He inherited Chequers Court, near Ellesborough, Buckinghamshire, from the Russell family. The house is now the country retreat of the Prime Minister. He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Russell, of Thirkleby in 1831.
He was also known as an artist.
