Notes on Window:	The 1825 heraldic glass shows the arms of some of the benefactors who contributed to building the church. The use of their arms in this way was probably encouraged by one of the Trustees, Sir George Nayler who lived at Bradenham Manor. He was Garter Principal King of Arms from 1822-1831. More... The heraldic glass was originally in the E window, which was where the Chancel Arch is now. It would have been a very prominent feature inside the Georgian church. It was moved to the N Transept in 1872 when the Chancel was added to the church. The previous layout of the panels is not known, as the old E window could have had 4 sets of lights rather than 3.

		Panel 5: John Norris (1774-1845) of Hughenden, a notable antiquary who designed the church. He had inherited his estates from his father, another John Norris, who was a member of Dashwood's Hellfire Club.
		Panel 6: Wiliam Grenville, Lord Grenville (1759-1834) of Dropmore House (North of Burnham). He was Foreign Secretary 1781-91, and Prime Minister 1806-7.
		Panel 7: Sir Scrope Bernard-Morland (1758-1830) of Nether Winchendon and Great Kimble. MP for Aylesbury 1789-1806.
		Panel 8: Sir John Aubrey (1781-1856) of Dorton House and Boarstall. High Sheriff in 1816.
		Panel 9: Sir William Young (1806-42) who owned land in the Parish. His wife was a daughter of John Norris (see Panel 5). His arms can also be seen on a Hatchment in the N Transept.
		Panel 10: Matthew Raper (1740-1826) of Ashlyns House, Berkhamsted. A banker who owned land in the Parish, his father had lived at Wendover Dean.
		Panel 11: Sir George Lee (1767-1827) of Hartwell House, a Doctor.
		Panel 12: Sir Thomas Baring (1772-1848) a banker and MP for Wycombe 1806-1831.
		Panel 13: Fiennes Wykeham-Martin (1769-1842) of Chacombe Priory Banbury, and Leeds Castle Kent.

		Panel 14: Charles Perceval (1756-1840) created Lord Arden in 1802.
		Panel 15: Reverend Charles Rigby Collins.
		Panel 16: Thomas Trevor, 2nd Viscount Hampden (1746-1824) of Hampden House.
		Panel 17: Lord George Cavendish (1754-1834) of Latimer House, who was a son of the 4th Duke of Devonshire. He was created the Earl of Burlington, and gave land in the Parish as an endowment.

		Panel 18: Lord Bishop of Lincoln from 1820, George Pelham (1766-1827). Lacey Green was in the Diocese of Lincoln until 1837.
		Panel 19: John Grubb of Horsenden House and Lord of the Manor, which included Lacey Green. He gave 18 acres of land in the parish as an endowment.
		Panel 20: Richard Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville, 1st Duke of Buckingham and Chandos (1776-1839) of Stowe. Lord Lieutenant 1813-39.
		Panel 21: Richard Plantaganet Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville, Marquis of Chandos (1798-1861). He succeeded as 2nd Duke of Buckingham in 1839.
		Panel 22: William Legge, 4th Earl of Dartmouth (1784-1853) of Patteshull, Staffordshire, who had a large estate in North Bucks.
		Panel 23: Montague Bertie 5th Earl of Abingdon (1784-1854) of Wytham Abbey Berkshire, and Rycote Oxfordshire.

		Panel 24: John Egerton 7th Earl of Bridgewater(1753-1823). He rebuilt Ashridge House when he was reputedly the richest man in England.
		Panel 25: John Russell 6th Duke of Bedford (1766-1839) of Woburn Abbey and Chenies Manor.
		Panel 26: George Irby (1777-1856) 3rd Lord Boston, of Hedsor Lodge.
		Panel 27: George Stanhope (1805-1866) 6th Earl of Chesterfield of Bretby Derbyshire. The Stanhope family had inherited the extensive Dormer estates in Bucks.
		Panel 28: George Hampden (1789-1849) 5th Earl of Buckinghamshire, of Blickling Hall Norfolk. He moved to Hampden House after inheriting the estate from the 3rd Viscount Hampden (see Panel 29).
		Panel 29: John Trevor (1748-1824) 3rd Viscount Hampden of Hampden House. He only lived for 5 months after inheriting the estate from his brother the 2nd Viscount Hampden (see Panel 16).
		Window from the outside, showing its unusual metal window frame which was one of seven originally made for the large windows of the Georgian church.
		This interior view shows another very unusual feature of this particular window, which was double glazed.
