Subject(s) - Notes:	The Tree of Jesse is supposed to show the ancestors of Christ, as listed in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. One list has 77 names and the other 44.

Dedicated to:	Kitelee Chandos Baily More... Kitelee Chandos Baily was Vicar at Bradwell for 52 years until he died on 2nd December 1921.
Donated by:	Charles Chetwode Baily, "his affectionate nephew".
Notes on Window:	The stonework of this window with its very large light in the Tracery is ideal for the subject of the Stained Glass. Whether it was already the current shape or re-designed for the current glass we are not sure.

		Lights 2 & 3: Four Kings, all descendants of Jesse.

		Light 3: King Solomon, with the first Temple in Jerusalem, which he finished building.
		Light 3: Closer view of King Solomon and Temple in Jerusalem, which had been an ambition of his father, King David.

		Light 2: King Jotham. His hand, and the tree trunk, are both pointing upwards to the top of the window.

		Light 4: An angel holding a scroll: "Ecce radix Jesse" - Behold the root of Jesse.
		Light 4: St Paul holding a scroll: "Erit radix Jesse et qui exurget regere gentes" - There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles (Romans 15:12) - a quotation from Isaiah 11:10.
