Makers Mark - Notes: | Window 04 dates from after Kempe's death in 1907, so has the later makers mark with a tower on the wheatsheaf, whereas the earlier Window 03 has the plain wheatsheaf mark. |
Notes on Window: | Windows 03 and 04 are very much a pair, both portraying events described in the bible using 4 scenes, one being a Parable, and the other a Miracle. They are both high quality Kempe work, made in 1904 and 1910. More... |
