Notes on Window:
There are undoubtedly some medieval elements to this glass, but it is difficult to be certain how much is old. It was undoubtedly restored by Clayton and Bell in 1871. More...

Both lights: the two figures of St Mary and St Joseph, facing each other.

LH light: The Virgin Mary with a ribbon scroll around her head with the text "Sancta Maria Mater Jesu Christi" meaning "Saint Mary Mother of Jesus Christ".

LH light: The Virgin Mary wears an ornately decorated cloak, and has her hands clasped together.

RH light: Joseph with a ribbon scroll around his head with the text "Sanctus Joseph ??? lignarius" meaning "Saint Joseph ??? Carpenter" (one word is unreadable).

RH light: Joseph is shown as an older man. He carries his staff with a lily on the top, and a birdcage with two doves.

Tracery light: A white lily with 3 flowers growing in an urn, and a scroll with the words "Beati mundo corde" meaning "Blessed are the pure in heart".
